Earth Data Science & Machine Learning
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Earth Sciences, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Population and Public Health Sciences at the University of Southern California, where I lead the Atmospheric Composition and Earth Data Science group.
I am actively recruiting students and postdocs! Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested in working on problems related to air quality, climate change, and/or environmental data science and machine learning!
Prior to my position at USC, I was a Research Data Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where I began my independent research career as a Linus Pauling Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow.
I received my Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and Computation at MIT, working with Professor Colette Heald, and a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Arizona, where I worked with Professor Ave Arellano.
